I've been doing PTC sites since January of 2008 and I'm getting tired of running into scam sites, trying to recruit people, and getting so close then they just up and disappear. The payout waiting time is almost not even worth it but I for some reason keep thinking the money will come, just be patient.
Not only this I have read numerous articles on how to get more referrals, how to promote your site, and odds & ins. Guess what? It's still not helping someone who doesn't know that much about marketing, strategies, or promoting.
I recently started giving 90% cash back offers for anyone who signed up under me as well but I don't make that much of a profit from this either. Some people want the money before you even get paid from such sites but then if they disappear like most of them do, you are out not only time, but money as well. It sucks.
Lately I've been doing more research on how to write for money, making money from blogging, or any fresh ideas that would actually increase my chances of staying home to raise kids and work at the same time. I have found a few interesting places but not that many and not enough explanations on how to do that either.
I'm starting to think that there's some secret way to do all this and no one wants to release what it is because then it would turn into more competition for them. Granted this is true, but why not share your experience and make more people make money so they don't have to struggle? In the long run more people would profit from this and go further in life.
