Well they were going swimmingly until the last month when Dennis and his gf had their baby. Now there are all kinds of excuses and cancellations going on. The last one was that the baby had been keeping them up all night the last few nights. I more or less told his gf since I have to make the visitations with her that when they want to see him again give me a call and I will see what I have available. All along I have been trying to be nice, being the one calling and scheduling since first contact in June and making it around their schedule; and now I'm just tired of being the only responsible adult in the situation.
My question is ... Why should I be the one doing all the work when HE wants to be a part of his son's life so badly? And if HE wanted to be a part of his son's life so badly then why hasn't HE got off his butt and gotten a job to help support his child?
I'm just tired and frustrated and am still waiting for a call this week. I told her what days I would be off, but then again last week when I left it up to them to call me they didn't and I caved ... I called them to set up the time and day 3 hours after I told her to call. The excuse was, oh I forgot. That's getting old.
